The first post

BANG.

To begin, I'd like to welcome you all to the Foothill Music Club's blog. Here we will announce various things, detail on events and, of course, talk about music.

Every post herein will abide by one string of consistency; we will always talk about and share at least one album. This post is no exception.

So then, first album on the chopping block:

Interpol's Turn on the Bright Lights - YOUTUBE

This album is Interpol's first full length, and is, in my opinion, their best complete work to date. There isn't a single song on this album I don't love. Interpol is a band from New York who specializes in a blend of mellow, perverted, sad, emotionally dense and poetic indie rock.
